Create a fun game to play with your friends and family.
Materials:
- Gluestick
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Pen or Sharpie
- Construction Paper
- Tape
Step 1: Fold six of the same pieces of construction paper in half and draw a shape of your choosing on one side of the folded paper. I chose a triangle
Step 2: Cut your shape out and set aside
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 & 2 until you have 4 different shapes cut out. You should have six of each shape.
Step 4: Glue all of your shapes to your cardboard
Step 5: Cut out all of the shapes
Step 6: Take your smaller piece of cardboard and draw a straight line.
Step 7: Cut out two pieces of cardboard and then fold into three equal parts.
Step 8: Cut out 6 pieces of cardboard, these will be the six sides of your dice
Step 9: Glue construction paper to the pieces of cardboard. For the last two sides, glue 2 different colors to those pieces.
Step 10: Begin putting together the dice. Start by taping two cardboard pieces together on one side.
Step 11: Tape 3 more pieces to the other 3 sides of the middle cardboard piece. Slowly start to bring the sides up and begin taping them together on the inside of the created dice.
Step 12: Make sure that all of the sides are of equal length when taped together and then add tape along the inside of the created cube, half in the cube and half out to be used to place the top.
Step 13: Place the top part of the dice onto the cube, making sure that the cardboard is secure on the tape.
Step 14: Place the shapes on the floor. Each shape should be in one row, you will have four rows with six shapes each.
Step 15: Congratulations you have completed your game! Have fun playing with your friends and family.
