This activity will consist of 4 trick shots that you can try with a ping pong ball and a cup! If you do not have a ping pong ball, you can use any other type of ball or crumple up a piece of paper. Although we only show you 4 trick shots, there are thousands and thousands of trick shots yet to be discovered.
Trickshot #1: Triple Bounce!
For this trickshot you will need a ping pong ball, cup, and three flat platforms that are different height levels. You will start on one end and bounce the ping pong ball on top of all three platforms into the cup on the other end.
Trickshot #2: Downstairs Trickshot
For this trickshot you will need a ping pong ball, cup, and a set of stairs. This trickshot is very similar to the first trickshot. The only difference is that the platforms you use in the first trickshot don’t have to be stairs. Start at the top of the stairs and use as many bounces as you need to bounce the ping pong ball into the cup at the bottom of the stairs.
Trickshot #3: Upstairs Trickshot
For this trickshot you will need a ping pong ball, cup, and a set of stairs. This trickshot is very similar to the first and second trickshot. Start at the bottom of the stairs and use as many bounces as you need to bounce the ping pong ball into the cup at the top of the stairs. If there are walls along the side of the stairway, try bouncing the ping pong ball off the wall, onto the stairs, and into the cup.
Trickshot #4: Longboard Trickshot
For this trickshot you will need a ping pong ball, cup, and two longboards. Set the longboards across from each other and use something like a shoe or clothes to tilt the longboards slightly upwards. Stand on one end of the longboards and bounce the ping pong ball on BOTH longboards into the cup.
