Create a fun Easter treat as a gift for family and friends.

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups of coconut shreds plus two cups of finely shredded coconut or you can put two cups in a blender and shred it, unsweetened or a mix of sweetened and unsweetened so it’s not too sweet
  • 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup of powdered sugar
  • Baking tray

Steps:

1. In a large bowl add your 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk

2. Add your 2 tablespoons of butter but make sure to melt it first. I melted my butter in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds

3. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

4. Mix it all together

5. Add five cups of your medium shredded coconut, I added a mix of sweetened and unsweetened, so it wasn’t too sweet.

6. Add ¼ cup of powdered sugar

7. Mix everything together

8. Put your mixture in the fridge to chill for at least 15-20 minutes

9.While your mixture is in the fridge, prepare your coconut. If you have medium shredded coconut, put two cups in the blender to finely shred it and place it in a separate bowl. Also prep a baking tray or plate to place your bunny tails on after rolling them up

10. Take your mixture out of the fridge and roll your mixture into small round shapes

11. Roll the balls into your coconut

12.Place your balls on a plate or tray

13. Put the plate in the fridge for at least an hour. The longer you leave them in the fridge the more hardened they will become.

14. Enjoy your bunny tails!
