In this activity, you will learn how to make delicious Peanut Butter Breakfast bars with a few simple ingredients

Materials
Microwave
Medium mixing bowl
Microwave safe medium bowl
Spatula or mixing spoon
Measuring Cups
Parchment paper
8×8 baking dish
Spoon
Refrigerator
Ingredients
4 cups of breakfast cereal (recommend cheerios)
½ cup of peanut butter
½ cup of honey

Instructions:

Step One: Put a ½ cup  of peanut butter and a ½ cup of honey in a microwave safe bowl

Step Two: Microwave until the peanut butter is melted. Microwave in 20-30 second increments. Stir in between microwaving

Step Three: Add 4 cups of cereal to your mixing bowl. I combined two flavors of cereal

Step Four: Add your melted peanut butter and honey to the cereal and mix together

Step Five: Pour your mixture into the 8×8 parchment lined baking dish

Step Six: Spread and flatten into all of the corners of the baking dish, cover and place into your refrigerator to harden (about 1 to 2 hours)

Step Seven: Remove bars from the refrigerator and from the dish

Step Eight: Cut into squares (Get parent’s permission to use a knife)

Enjoy your breakfast bars. Package your bars with the parchment paper that you used in the baking dish and place them in a Ziploc bag in the fridge.
