Rosa Parks was a powerful figure in the civil rights movement. In celebration of Black History Month, Ms. Heidi shows you how to make Rosa Parks’ peanut butter pancakes.

You’ll need:

  1. 1 cup of flour
  2. 2 tablespoons of baking powder
  3. ½ teaspoon salt
  4. 2 tablespoons of sugar
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1/3 cup peanut butter melted
  7. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions:

Step 1: Combine 1 cup of flour, 2 tablespoons of baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar

Step 2: Sift dry ingredients

Step 3: Mix together 1 egg, 1/3 cup peanut butter melted, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in separate bowl

Step 4: Add the mixed ingredients to the sifted ingredients and stir

Step 5: cook pancakes
