Missing carving pumpkins? Try carving a watermelon for a fun summer twist!
Materials:
- Watermelon
- Bowl
- Carving tools with parents’ permission and supervision
- Optionally washable marker
Steps:
1. Start by cutting the top of your watermelon with your parents’ permission and supervision. I also like to cut the inside of the top so it’s flat
2. Next scoop out the watermelon to enjoy later
3. Now you can decorate your watermelon. You can start with an outline by using your washable marker or just jump in
4. Carve your design and enjoy you summer carving and watermelon snack
