Materials:
- Yarn
- Paperclip
- Scissors
Step 1: Wind your yarn around your first three fingers until you have a good amount of yarn. If you are using multiple colors of yarn for your pom pom, cut the first yarn and then wind the next color. Repeat this step until you have a large amount of yarn.
Step 2: Carefully pull the yarn off your fingers, be sure to not unravel the yarn. Take a piece of yarn and tie it in the middle of the yarn. Each side of the yarn should look a little like a bow.
Step 3: Carefully thread the yarn knot through the paperclip. Pull gently to make sure that the paperclip is securely attached.
Step 4: Using your scissors, cut the loops that were created on each side and shape your pom pom. Carefully cut the excess yarn to make it even and round. Be gentle with the yarn as you trim, you could accidentally pull through some of the yarn if you tug too hard.
Step 5: Congratulations you have created your own pom pom bookmark!
