Dried Orange Ornaments

Create sweet smelling ornaments for decoration this holiday season. Show us your ornaments in the comments below.

Materials:

  1. Dried Oranges
  2. Dried Anise
  3. Cinnamon Sticks
  4. Hot glue gun
  5. Wooden Beads
  6. Twine
  7. Plastic Embroidery Needle

Step 1:  Thread your needle with twine

Step 2:  Push your needle through one of the dried oranges near the rind

Step 3:  Thread both ends of the twine through the needle

Step 4:  Put both wooden beads into the pieces of twine to sit on top of the orange

Step 5:  Hot glue a cinnamon stick on the top of the orange rind, under the beads, this will cover the twine.

Step 6:  Hot glue the dried anise on top of the cinnamon stick

Step 7:  Tie a knot on the top of the twine 

Step 8:  Congratulations you are done! Hang your ornament for decoration or make many to create a garland.
