Materials:
- Paper (green and another color for the base)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
Steps:
1. Fold your green piece of paper in half and cut it in half to make equal size boxes that won’t be too big for the base paper.
2. Fold your paper leaving enough space to draw half a heart
3. Draw and cut out your heart
4. Fold your paper again and use your first heart to draw another. Repeat drawing and cutting until you have 6 hearts for a three leaf clover or 8 hearts for a four leaf clover. Make sure you draw your hearts so they will unfold.
5. Put glue on one half of your heart and attach it to your paper towards an edge to leave space for the rest of your hearts
6. Glue the opposite side of your next heart and place it so the two unglued sides of your hearts are standing in the middle.
7. Add your next heart by lining up the two glued down sides
8. Add the next heart with the two unglued sides standing in the center
9. Keep repeating the pattern. Add a heart with the glued down sides touching
10. Add a heart with the two unglued sides touching in the center. This creates a three leaf clover, you can stop here or add more for a four leaf.
11. Add a heart with the two glued down sides touching
12. Add a heart with the two unglued sides touching in the center. Now you have a pop-up four leaf clover.
13. Next you can add a stem and decorate the surrounding area however you’d like
