Paper Hearts Chain

Create your own Valentine’s Day decoration, a paper heart chain!

Materials: 

  • paper (any color you like)
  • scissors
  • stapler

Step 1: start by turning your paper long ways and beginning to fold it accordion style a little less than an inch wideA picture containing text, stationary, envelope Description automatically generated

Step 2: Keep folding your paper

Step 3: unfold your paper

Step 4: Cut out your strips of paper

Step 5: take one strip and fold it in half

Step 6: bend the flaps down so it creates a heart shape. This is the beginning of your paper heart chain!

Step 7: take another folded flap and place it over the bottom of your first heart shape. Staple the bottom closed to hold it together.

Step 8: Keep folding down your flaps and stapling the new strips to the bottom to form more hearts. 

Step 9: Add as many hearts as you’d like! Each one is unique.
