Create a fun origami heart bookmark for yourself or your friends
Materials:
- Origami Paper or create your own (https://virtuallybgcmc.org/2021/10/create-your-own-origami-paper/ )
Step 1: Fold your paper in half lengthwise color side in (hamburger & hot dog fold), then unfold
Step 2: Triangle fold each side with color side out and then unfold
Step 3: Place the paper with the color side on the table, begin folding in the corners towards the center and then flatten into a triangle.
Step 4: Fold one corner towards the center point, unfold. Do this to both sides
Step 5: Fold the top point down to the bottom of the triangle and then unfold
Step 6: Open the triangle at the bottom, take the top portion and begin to fold the bottom corners into and flatten.
Step 7: Fold the flat top down towards the bottom
Step 8: Fold half of the rectangle up towards the center line
Step 9: Open up the sides of the rectangle created and then flatten down.
Step 10: Fold the bottom corners up to form a point on each side
Step 11: Fold the points down towards the bottom of the triangle formed
Step 12: Bring the folded portions back up towards the top point. You have now created your heart
Step 13: You have now completed your Heart Book Corner Bookmark!
