Create your very own Christmas card with this fun arts & crafts activity
Materials:
- Construction paper (green, brown, and your choice of color)
- Glue
- Scissors
Step 1: Take your green sheet of paper and fold it in half horizontally. Fold it in half again.
Step 2: Cut where you’ve folded. You should have four smaller sheets of paper.
Step 3: Fold these papers vertically, to make rectangles.
Step 4: One by one cut triangles out of these folded rectangles. (tip: You can cut straight, about an inch away from the end of the paper, and back up to the corner of the paper)
Step 5: Once you have your triangles apply glue to one side of the triangle. Then glue it to the side of another triangle.
Step 6: Add glue to another triangle (3rd triangle) and glue it to these combined triangles. Repeat this with the fourth.
Step 7: Put the triangles to the side and take your choice of color. (this will be the card itself) Fold it in half, horizontally.
Step 8: Add glue to one side of your triangle. Line up the folded line that runs through the Christmas tree with the line that folds your card. Make sure that side is secured to your card. Now glue the other side to your card. Fold the card in half to secure it.
Step 9: Cut a rectangle out of your brown paper. Fold it in half.
Step 10: Line it up with the fold on your card and add glue. Secure it.
Step 11: Add whatever you’d like to your card. You’re done.
