Materials:

  1. Paper
  2. Scissors

Paper Basketball

Step 1: Fold and unfold each top corner diagonally to form an x-shaped crease on the top of the paper.

Step 2: Fold both top corners down to the point at which the bottom crease begins.

Step 3: Tuck the top-outside corners of the paper inwards so that the paper has a triangular shape at the top. 

Step 4: Tuck one side of the front triangle into the other side.

Step 5: Fold the outsides of the paper inwards so that the basketball hoop can stand up

Step 6: Crumple up a paper scrap and you are ready to play some paper basketball!

Paper Soccer

Step 1: Fold top-right corner to bottom left of paper.

Step 2: Cut off the excess paper below the triangle that was formed in order to create a perfect square.

Step 3: Open the paper back up and fold top-left corner to bottom-right corner to create a x-shaped crease on the paper.

Step 4: Tuck the insides of the paper towards the middle of the paper, forming a triangular shape.

Step 5: is tricky to complete. Fold all four corners upwards towards the tip of the triangle

Step 6: Fold all four sides of the diamond shape inwards towards the center of the paper.

Step 7: Tuck all four top corners into the fold openings that you created in the last step.

Step 8: Rotate the paper so you are looking down at the top of it.  Blow into the hole and the paper should expand into a balloon-like shape.

Step 9: Decorate the paper as you wish and play some paper soccer!

Paper Football

Step 1: Fold a paper vertically. “Hot-dog style.”

Step 2: Fold the paper vertically a second time. “Hot-dog style.”

Step 3: Fold the top right corner of the paper diagonally across the paper.

Step 4: Fold the triangular portion of the paper downwards.

Step 5: Fold the top-left corner of the paper diagonally across the paper.

Step 6: Fold the triangular portion of the paper downwards.

Step 7: Fold the top-right corner of the paper diagonally across the paper.

Step 8: Fold the triangular portion of the paper downwards.

Step 9: Fold the top-left corner of the paper diagonally across the paper.

Step 10: Fold the hanging segment of paper into a triangular shape and tuck it into the opening, closing the triangle.  

Step 12: Decorate the paper football and practice kicking some field goals!
